Friendlys in Gettysburg

Loved it! The food was amazing!! I ordered the honey BBQ melt and it was delicious! Super flavorful and our waiter (Justis) was really nice. I would love to come back here if I'm ever in the area. The only downside is the teensy tiny bathrooms.

Of course, the ice cream was wonderful. Good serving portion size as well. The reason for four stars was the wait time for the food. Our waitress was pleasant. The food, when it arrived, was good and warm. However it took almost 25 minutes to receive our food and the restaurant was at most 50% full. Otherwise would have been 5 stars. Overall, a good family stop for food and ice cream

The friendliest service I've had in a while. We came in a group and it was a great experience. The food came out all together and was good. The servers were terrific. The price was just right. The kids had a great time. Definitely have to visit again next time we're in town.

Good food the people are also very friendly

Friendly's was once my favorite place to eat since I was younger. This trip however was not a good experience at all. Once we walked inside and I looked around my surroundings as I am a server as well I noticed it was not kept very clean debris on bench seats and floors and the menus were sticky. Silverware was not neatly given. Our server did not seem very friendly fries were not very hot and were over fried overall I will not be returning to this location

Everytime,We come to Gettysburg,we stop at Friendly's.The food is good,and service.The prices fit our budget.No waiting.Food comes out fast.No problems with service.I love their Tomato Basil Soup.Lots of menu choices.Has a senior menu.Lot's of ice cream choices,and shakes.They have cakes for sale and ice cream.They have a separate window for carryout ice cream.Can pay on kiosk machine.

This place is poorly managed,they had people waiting to eat and must of had over half their tables empty,I got a turkey dinner,the turkey was dry,the corn was over cooked, my meal tasted like it sat under a heat lamp for awhile,my wife's sandwich wasn't right,my son had to wait for his meal 15 minutes after we got ours,got ice cream wanted hot fudge didn't have any,the list could go on and on.I felt sorry for our waitress,she was the only positive thing about our experience,I will never eat at that Friendlys again!!!!!!!!

The Friendlys near me closed so this place is the next closest one. I personally love Friendlys and I get the same thing every time and have been for years. This place was kind of a disappointment. It wasn't as clean as it could have been and the wait staff isn't as attentive as they should be. The food was ok, I think it was just warm and we didn't get any ice cream which we normally do. Overall disappointing experience and probably won't be going back to this location.

I came here and it took 10 minutes to get seated today it was mostly empty we got menus but after they gave it to us we waited ten minutes for them to comeback because we wanted the dessert menu then after we ordered it took 20 minutes to get our food we did not even get enough napkins for everyone I ordered a medium brownie sundae when I got it it was mostly brownie with a melted little bit of ice cream on the bottom we were also asked if we wanted drinks we asked for water they brought it just as we were finishing our sundaes to leave it was not very good service today I'm pretty disappointed hopefully it will improve in the future

Great place to take kids for ice cream. So much to choose from. Good food too.

Food was meh--but the ice cream was good!

I got the chicken quesadilla half order. It was good. Waitress was attentive and gave good service. Felt some of the pricing was a bit pricey since everything was extra including the fries with a hamburger.

We had a 10 minute wait, no biggy. The staff was very friendly. I had the Lobster roll, it was good, but for the price I was expecting it to be on an actual roll, not just toasted bread. The coleslaw was fantastic. Everyone at our table enjoyed their meals. It was worth the 10 minute wait.

Loved the food, it was delicious!!!! The waitress was so nice and helpful and she was very patient with my kids. The icecream was amazing also, my boyfriend said he would drive 3 hours just to come back!

Great place to eat after a day of walking around the battlefield. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is perfect and the staff is very friendly!

35 minute wait on a Saturday can be expected and we understand this, but we literally saw 4 tables that could have easily fit our party saw two smaller groups if people leave and upon being seated saw an additional 6 tables empty that could have easily fit the other four groups of people who came in after us!!! Been coming to this Friendly's forever and this is the worst experience yet....

We always have a good time. Good food at good prices. We sometimes do just for the ice cream. It's my wife's favorite.

Very good food and the service was "friendly" reasonably priced

I've actually made it to a table once and the food was good. I have since tried to go back twice and have been told both times that there are only two servers and the wait is 10 to 15 minutes to be seated. Being that there is not enough in house seating to accomadate the wait at the door and two servers during prime drinner hours doesn't bode well for a good dining experience I declined the first time and those reasons again for the second time but now I won't try for a third time as this seems general practice.

Breakfast not very tasty. Egg portion of omelet good but the brisket (which was hard to find) and the potatoes were barely cooked.

Best burger I've ever had! I ordered the BBQ Bacon Burger. Absolutely the best burger i've ever eaten on the East Coast! Bring Friendly's to the Northern California!!! If you want fast food, don't come here. This is truly an old fashioned diner. If you're exploring Gettysburg, this is the lunch destination!!!!

Well, me never being here or heard of this place (I'm from south Georgia), I was happy to sit down in this warm cozy place on a hill. Waitress was kind, polite and quick with anything we needed. Food was fantastic, honey BBQ berger was hot, onions straws were crunchy. My loaded waffle fries were crispy outside, soft inside covered in cheese and bacon. Lots of ice cream to choose from whether it was a float or sundae, everything was delicious, hopefully stop on the way back home!

They were very busy, but you wouldn't know it because we had a great waitress, Angela! We had refills, food, and ice cream out quickly! My 7 year old daughter said Angela was nice and is a hard worker!
